It is RoHS and REACH compliant. Ruland four beam couplings are zero-backlash and have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 6,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. This MW-series beam coupling is machined from a single piece of stainless steel and features two sets of two spiral cuts allowing for higher torque capacity and lower windup than single beam couplings. This coupling is best suited for encoders. Stainless steel is used for higher torque capabilities than aluminum versions, however the coupling will have significantly higher inertia. This coupling is clamp style and has 0.250" x 0.250" bores, 0.787" (20.0mm) OD, and 1.102" (28.0mm) length. It has pure metric outer diameter and length dimensions to fit in a smaller envelope than Ruland P-series beam couplings for easier interchanges with single beam couplings.
