Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic, & non-sparking.We recommend phenolic wheels for many applications, however, if you need more floor protection, a cushioned ride, or a quiet rolling wheel, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.*Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected. Phenolic wheels are a great alternative to steel wheels. Unless noted otherwise in the options, bearings will have a 180°F temperature rating. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters, and BBQ Pits.
