A mounting bracket is used to keep the motor or engine and the pump attached to one another. In order to mount the shaft of a motor or engine to a pump, a jaw coupler and center spider are used. The coupler is fitted or keyed to the shafts of both the pump and the motor, allowing the movement of the prime mover or hydraulic motor to transfer to the pump. The jaw coupler connects the shafts together, while the center spider fills the gap between the shafts. The bracket is mounted to both the pump and the engine or motor.
