Our solid neoprene is actually a synthetic rubber compound, made with a 10% neoprene material base and a blend of styrene butadiene rubber and chloroprene rubber to give it the strength of both synthetic elastomers. Rubber-Cal’s Neoprene sheet is a tough synthetic rubber that is ideal for industrial applications. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene durometer. No need to worry about high temperatures or heavy abrasions damaging the elastomer sheeting; this 3/8" neoprene is one of the thicker options available and works best in high-stress physical applications. This soft rubber has a durometer of 50A, giving it a firm surface while allowing a reasonable amount of flexibility. Another key feature of this heavy-duty neoprene is its intense temperature range and resistance. Though other synthetic rubber materials may have stronger resistance to some of these conditions, no other material offers the diverse cumulation of resistance that neoprene rubber does.
