Please note direct heat sealer cannot seal polyethylene materials. Once the correct setting has been reached, consistent seals will be maintained automatically. The meshed or serrated seal width is 15mm. This 12" sealer comes in ivory with a 15mm wide meshed or serrated jaws and a foot switch for a semi-automatic setting. Both jaws are heated simultaneously resulting in better heat penetration to seal thicker material. The hot sealing bars are enclosed with a heat resistant plastic bar for safer operation.Direct heat sealers seal all types of thermoplastic packaging material, but are especially ideal for thicker material such as coated aluminum foil, Kraft paper, cellophane, mylar, coated PP. Equipped with a German manufactured temperature controller that accurately controls the temperature from 30°-550° F (0°-300° C). Set the temperature depending on the material to be sealed. Includes adjustable work table.Easy to operate. Press down on the foot pedal and release. Once the correct setting has been established, consistent seals will be maintained automatically.
