Neoprene Sheet - 40A- Smooth Finish - No Backing - 0.032 Thick X 2 Width X 36 Length - Black

About The The neoprene sheets perform well in temperatures from -20° to 212° F, making then the ideal choice for most industrial applications. Neoprene sheet rubber is highly valued in outdoor applications because it can withstand UV rays, ozone, and weathering. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene durometer

This mix of synthetic rubber materials gives the rubber neoprene moderate resistance to oils, chemicals, and many damaging effects of weather. The rubber neoprene stands up to acetic acids, petroleum-based solvents, and certain oils and chemicals without wearing down for a long time. This thick neoprene is the ideal industrial rubber sheeting. Neoprene sheet rubber is highly valued in outdoor applications because it can withstand UV rays, ozone, and weathering. The neoprene sheets perform well in temperatures from -20° to 212° F, making then the ideal choice for most industrial applications. Our Neoprene sheets offer excellent all-around resistance, making them versatile enough for indoor and outdoor applications alike. The unique neoprene blend that makes up Rubber-Cal’s Neoprene sheeting gives it great resistance to many substances that can easily degrade other types of sheet rubber material. Neoprene rubber was developed by DuPont in the 1930s to meet the demand for an elastomer sheet with chemical resistance and outdoor capabilities. Our sheets of neoprene are actually a synthetic rubber compound, made with a blend of styrene butadiene rubber and chloroprene (neoprene) to give it the strength of both synthetic elastomers. This rubber neoprene has a durometer of 40A, giving it a somewhat soft surface with an excellent range of flexibility. Our neoprene sheets come in a selection of gauges, lengths, and widths to ensure the proper fit for any desired application. Different applications may also require varying levels of neoprene durometer. While other rubber materials degrade quickly under intense physical conditions, neoprene sheets are designed to endure. Rubber neoprene performs well in high-stress applications—particularly in outdoor and industrial conditions—that could damage other synthetic rubber types. Though other types of synthetic rubber may have stronger resistance to some of these conditions, no other material offers the diverse cumulation of resistance that rubber neoprene does. No need to worry about high temperatures or heavy abrasions damaging the industrial sheet rubber; this 1/32" neoprene is the thinnest gauge available and works best in highly detailed applications. The result is a smooth and solid black rubber sheeting that is highly desired for intense applications.A key strength of rubber neoprene is its intense temperature range and resistance. The 40A durometer neoprene is extremely pliable, making it a good choice for sealing applications like insulation or industrial gasketing. Rubber-Cal’s Neoprene material is a durable synthetic rubber sheeting that is designed for industrial applications.
